How many great projects emerge each year? This year’s Fénix Awards attracted more than 600 projects, and 87 of them took home an award. CNC projects scored across categories, winning six first places and two second places in total!
The Fénix Awards have been running for 12 years. The competition, originally focused on content marketing, has grown into a prestigious award for the communication and media innovations of Czech companies, brands and media. This year, more than 600 projects entered, and 87 of them won awards in categories ranging from content marketing through internal communication to innovation.
A jury made up of experts from the media, agencies and brands once again confirmed that the Czech market has strength. Among the main winners are Sazka as Company of the Year and 52pages as Agency of the Year. We are also delighted, because projects from the Czech News Center media house took home a total of 8 awards, six first places and two second places!
Award-winning projects
Let’s start at home. In the category Best Long-Term Media Project, the magazine Reflex took first place. It has been on the market for 35 years, yet it still succeeds in reaching audiences and breaking opinion bubbles, as its birthday campaign neatly showed.
However, the projects created for clients scored best in the competition.
Two first places, for the best project in Gastro/Food & Beverages and also in the THE BEST - Influencer marketing category, went to the Mentos Fizzooka campaign. In it, together with the Poggers editorial team, we helped client Perfetti van Melle and agency Wavemaker bring the campaign to a young target audience.
Many more projects succeeded, though. From the Gusto (BILLA) and BONUS (OZP) magazines, through microsites and brand collaborations (Volkswagen Financial Services, ŠkoFIN, Sencor), to native and digital formats (Novellista / GIVET Czech, Poggers).
