The Internet Effectiveness Awards 2025 showed that digital in Czechia no longer rests on the “wow effect” but on what actually works. The competition honours projects that affect business, save time or simplify processes. At the gala evening in Prague’s Royal Theatre this was confirmed in full. The Grand Prix went to the agency Digital Vision Czech Republic for a project for LEGO, in which 3D and VFX replaced physical products in an advert and sped up the whole production.

Looking at this year’s Internet Effectiveness Awards 2025, it is clear that digital in Czechia is taking a more pragmatic path than before. Companies are no longer testing technologies just because they are new. They are much more concerned with whether those technologies deliver concrete value.

The highest award went to Digital Vision Czech Republic for the project “Replacing products in a LEGO ad using 3D and VFX”. It sounds like a standard technology upgrade, but its strength lies elsewhere. It offers a more efficient way to prepare global adverts without having to shoot new products every time.

Companies care whether the project works

The nominations clearly showed that Czech digital is more mature. Projects are less about technological showmanship and more about how to improve a specific part of the business. Briefs often start from situations that seem unsolvable.

This year’s awards covered a wide range of areas:

  • Websites and portals: ATWEL International, UOL Akademie
  • B2C e-commerce: PragueBest and Harfasport
  • Mobile apps: Giant interactive and TOP CARD
  • Performance marketing: AITOM Digital and AGC
  • AI projects: AITOM with AGC, Feedyou for Bezrealitky, MEDIA FACTORY for CONTIN
  • Brand and social media: Czech Philharmonic, KFC, Toys & Stories, innogy

Agencies that scored

The agency that won the most awards was AITOM Digital, with ten. AITOM Digital has long built its projects on detailed analysis, measurable results and a so-called “entry study”, which lets it design solutions with a real impact. Effectix and Cognito won five awards each, while evisions advertising and LCG New Media each won four.

Others also stood out, for example PragueBest with three awards, or Pickerly with its campaign for Holokolo. Besides the Grand Prix, Digital Vision also won awards for digital transformation and sustainability.

Efficiency as the new norm

The trend confirmed by the competition this year is a simple fact: efficiency is no longer a separate discipline. It is becoming the standard. Less attention goes to how to be seen, and more to what a project actually does well.

We too see this shift in the wider digital world. In newsrooms and in other projects we work on, it is clear that digital solutions only make sense when they move people, brands or processes forward. Congratulations to all the winners, and thanks for projects that show efficiency can be inspiring and beautiful at the same time.
