We wanted a medium that moves at the rhythm of today. So we created Poggers. Gaming, pop culture, streamers and trends from the internet. Everything in one place, the way young digital culture wants it. Fast. Visual. Fun. And interactive.
From gaming to internet culture
Poggers started as a gaming portal, but we quickly realised that our audience is not only about games. Our trends are born on social networks, memes rule our communication, and our celebrities are streamers. So we went further and expanded the content to include internet culture and pop culture. We want to reflect what our generation really cares about and bring it to them in a form they enjoy. How do we do it?
Content has to fly
We do have a website, but it is not our epicentre. We are mainly where our target audience is: on TikTok, Instagram, Discord and also YouTube. And on the website we do not write long essays, but short and punchy formats: interactivity and simply a show that catches attention even in today’s ultra-fast era.
YouTube is a key channel for us thanks to the growing show DUNGGEON Podcast. It is not just a podcast but a talk show full of games, pop culture and interactive elements. We have replaced classic chatting in front of a microphone with a visually attractive approach. That is why we run DUNGGEON primarily on YouTube, where a format built on challenges and dynamic elements shines best. Guests go through various quests during an episode, complete tasks and take part in interactive elements inspired by foreign formats. And it works. Judge for yourself.
Although we have released only a few episodes so far, the third episode already passed 100 thousand views. On average we hover around 50 thousand, but we are aiming much higher. Our goal is one million views a month. And we are on a good path.
Thanks to all this, DUNGGEON has become one of the most-watched shows at CNC, which clearly proves that the concept entertains people. We owe this to well-chosen guests and creative challenge formats such as “This or That”, “Guess what” or tier lists. And to make the good news keep coming, the show already generates revenue from YouTube monetisation, so far in the low tens of thousands.
People create not just an audience but a community
The real strength of a community lies in involvement and activity. Our Discord has almost 1,500 members and keeps growing. But it is not just about numbers. It is about people getting involved, having fun and creating content. Every month we reward whoever creates the most viral clip from our podcast. Fans thus help build something bigger themselves.
And speaking of content… Classic advertising is not our style. We would rather create content that people enjoy and that naturally connects interesting products. We give space to brands that have something to say, and we know how to present it so that viewers want to watch.
One of our successful formats is “Worth it?”, short videos of at most 12 minutes that help people decide before buying. Ideal for games, tech news, gaming equipment and gadgets.
We monetise directly, which gives us room to experiment with new formats. We make collaborations that entertain viewers and at the same time make sense for brands. Win-win for everyone.
