Podcasts are now part of everyday life for millions of Czechs. The Podcast roku poll enters its seventh year with a new public service category and a Podcast Scene Prize. The public can vote until 5 June.
Czechs are hooked on podcasts
Podcasts are booming in Czechia, with nearly 100 new shows added every month. Few of them last, though. According to the České podcasty platform, 2,503 shows were active as of 1 April, under a third of the total.
Mateřídouška thrives by returning to tradition
